Nathan Smith started PART Studio in Louisville, Kentucky after a decade of working for design practices in the United States and abroad.  Nathan has taught design at the Universidad Francisco Marroquin, the University of Puerto Rico, and the University of Kentucky College of Design and is an Assistant Professor and Program Head of Interior Design at the Hite Institute of Art & Design at the University of Louisville. A native of Henry County, Kentucky, Nathan studied architecture at the University of Kentucky College of Architecture and earned his Master of Architecture from Rice University.  Nathan is a member of the American Institute of Architects and serves on the board of the AIA Central Kentucky Chapter.  He is licensed to practice architecture in Kentucky and New Mexico.

Nathan works on a range of project types and scales where design can connect people to each other and their place. From residential remodels to single family houses, adaptive re-use and independent commercial projects, he is happy to discuss your design goals for your next project.
